I'm planning to host a web server for bluemap, only allowing my friends able to access. Considering there's people will able to access my website, how can I limit to whitelist player only?

i dont believe you can
tho if its whitelist only, i doubt its gunna be that much of an issue
Yeh me too, so maybe a vpn could help
Bluemap default web port 8100, port forwarding making it public = public port 22 lol
Unless Bluemap could make a account style change which only authorized user can view
you could just install a plugin that manages logins on the bluemap
so only people with login can see it
BlueMap
Adding a login
BlueMap is a Minecraft mapping tool that creates 3D models of your Minecraft worlds and displays them in a web viewer.
If you want to avoid an additional plugin, you could add Cloudflare WAF rules allowing the Bluemap URL to only be accessed after entering an email address (and you can set which emails can access the website) as well as do geoblocking or login via Google, etc...
this seems really cool
I wonder how it could be used for things like server websites with minecraft sign on
for example hypixel has an auth system where you login in game
basically so, its just 3rd party stuff from the bluemap community
