Issues Uploading

Hey guys, i just wanted to make a quick post becuase i've been having a really hard time getting my nice!nanos set up. I initally was getting a coping error Which i solved by turning off windows defender and i got the second error message. The left controller now seems to want to work...at least slightly. The issue now is the left controller will show the blue led if it's plugged in, and the right hand will only show the orange led when its plugged in which i've been told it means it's charging. The left hand will not charge though, or at the very least the orange LED does not turn on. I have also set the config for the ZMK firmware to include the nice!nano but both screens just look like a pixelated mess. I will share some pictures showing my board and how i have everything because i might've just done something wrong.

It sounds like you're experiencing a few different issues with your nice!nanos and keyboard setup. Let's break down the problems and address them: 1. Charging Issues: If the left controller's blue LED is on but the orange LED (indicating charging) is not, it could be a battery connection issue. Ensure that the battery is properly connected to the JST jack and that the power switch is turned on. The battery needs to be connected correctly for it to charge. If the battery is connected and the switch is on, but it still doesn't charge, you may want to check the battery itself for any faults. 2. LED Indicators: The right controller showing only the orange LED when plugged in indicates that it is charging. If the left controller is not showing the orange LED, it may not be receiving power from the battery. Double-check the battery orientation and connections. 3. Pixelated Screens: The pixelated display issue could be related to the firmware configuration. Ensure that you have the correct firmware uploaded to both nice!nanos. If you have set the config for ZMK firmware to include the nice!nano, make sure that the firmware is built correctly and flashed onto the nice!nanos. You can refer to the firmware installation guide to ensure everything is set up properly. 4. Soldering and Connections: If you have recently assembled the keyboard, check all solder joints and connections, especially for the nice!nano and the display. Poor soldering can lead to connectivity issues. If you've checked all these points and are still having trouble, I recommend reviewing the troubleshooting documentation for further guidance. You can find helpful information on issues like charging and display problems in the troubleshooting section of our documentation.

Here’s are the best pictures I can get with a cracked phone lens. Hopefully it helps portray my issue

@TraviPatty getting these transfer errors is expected. The device disconnects before windows knows the files were copied. The left side has a solid blue light? No blinking, on, off, etc? That is really strange if so. Some of the joints look a little rough and you will need to double check the polarity of your battery connector

I triple checked the polarity because I really didn’t wanna mess that up. Ran into some issues when I was putting it together leading to the rough joints. The errors I know are to be expected however I’m not getting the same error as the one shown ZMK website so I’m under the assumption that there’s something else wrong

On the left side - does the blue light blink or is it a solid blue?

It blinks whenever it’s in the board I only get it go solid if I take it out and short the pins Even double tapping the reset button just makes it blink I can try taking a video of it later today if that would help

Is it a slow blinking or a fast blinking?
