Ban list default action: Log
Is it an intended feature that if you choose a ban list where the default action is Log or None, and when you ban someone it kicks them from the server even though the ban list you chose is only Log or None?

It will.
So when adding BM ban & your issuing it to a player that is actively on your server their is a set sequence in which actions occur.
1. your issuing not just a ban but a kick action.
So when you click that "addbmban" it does not check what that ban list is.
It will instantly issue a Kick for X player as it adds that ban to the ban list.
The only way to not do that, is to not issue the ban to that list till after they leave.
Is there an alternative way that I can add someone to a list without kicking them?
Are you doing it via the Dropdown on the dashboard?
& have you attempted it off the profile?
I believe both run the same command sequence
I believe both run the same command sequence
kick then ban 😅
I really feel reporting it as a bug though
I think it's a really useful feature, like a list feature
It's not a bug,
Otherwise when you ban a player it would not actually remove the player till a player update was run on said player.
Meaning, they could cause alot of issue's till the player is checked against an active ban.
Good point, it doesn't make much sense to "ban" a player but it doesn't do anything
One good use case I thought right now is to use this ban feature to kick like main campers, it will just use this ban list with Log or None default action instead of kick since kicks do not have much info. At list in the ban list we can store the info of the ban rather than just the notes feature of the player
