question, lod quick-reset

I am building a large island with distant horizons, axiom, and some other not as important mods. when i make large changes in the world, it doesnt really update the lod chunks, and with limited to 32 render distance, and limited LOD updating, its a little difficult to follow the shape of the island that i have already built as im building it. is there any way to quickly update the lods, like perhaps a button, and if you do it by the file method (which i forgot how) do you need to reload just the world, or the entire game to regenerate the lods?

the only way to do that is to delete the sqlite at /lodstored
