Configuration recommendations

Hi. I’m setting up a bed slinger cr10 and I modified it a bit. So I’m using a manta m5p with beacon. I used the minion config just so I can start somewhere, I have to adjust bed size. Also I’m using dual y motors with separate drivers. For now I plugged everything according to the diagram in configurator so have to add y1. Also when I power on both hot end and part cooling fans are on even though on screen the fans are at zero(off). I haven’t touch any config files so they are at stock

It will deppend a lot on what you selected on Configurator

keep in mind a CR-10 is not supported by RatOS.
V-Minion Speeds, accelerations, etc will be too much for a CR-10 even dual Y motor

fans were reversed in the ratos.cfg so i fixed it

Probably you set them wrong in configurator. A 4028 fan need the pin inverted. So that may be the issue. On configurator you need “inout voltage” instead of “digital pwm”

You can override everything by setting it on printer.cfg in the bottom.

Yeah there were two fan options so I wasn’t sure. One for 4pin and one 2pin unless I missed something
