i can't seem to get this mod working am i a idiot or this a broken mod?

Make sure you updated the game before launching SMM. If your game is up to date, you have both U8 and 1.0 installed in the same folder at once, and SMM is detecting the U8 version.
To fix this, uninstall the game, delete the game install dir if it still exists (this is NOT the AppData folder, but the location where you installed the game), then reinstall the game, and reopen SMM.
If reinstalling the game takes too long for you, a quicker fix is to delete the
<game install dir>\Engine\Binaries\Win64\FactoryGame-Win64-Shipping.version file, though this is not meant to be a permanent solution, as having the game installed twice in the same directory can cause issues later.pleasegeneratedebuginfo
It looks like you have not yet generated the debug info file!
Please do as the mod manager requested. Click the "Generate debug info" button and send the zip file in <#1243688087578738770> otherwise we will not be able to help you!

Aquila's mods are usually pretty reliable and this one is tagged to work, last updated just 4 days ago on Dec 6.
Did you read through the page on Ficsit.app (https://ficsit.app/mod/HexFactory)? I've never used this mod, but it looks like there may be some special steps to follow. It says something about a new save and always skip intro.
yeah i checked and no mods are working so im redownloaded the mod installer because its saying something is outdated

Sounds like you need a game update. Are you running on Steam or Epic?

If not, and there are no queued updates, sounds like time to verify game files.
yeah i see, think this was due to having to download the 0.8 or something version before how to disable this now

its a standed world
I'm going to have to let someone else comment, because I don't know enough about the mod to be helpful. Lots of other great mods out there if you don't mind the realistic world.
ok wasnt enabed still stuck on the CL273254 update
Sounds like it's time to look at your options in Properties | Updates

still getting the wrong update message even though its the right update

the mod isnt even downloading from the mod manager i opened it without mods
i deleted all the files and trying a redownload again
At the top of SMM it says "Mods On" in green?

according to the auto message this should apparentlly fix it
its saying i have both versions installed
I wish I could help more, but at this point I've got no more ideas if the above does't work.
