What are your opinions on sack blazers?
Not necessarily planning to get one, I've been checking different garments lately and I'd like to know what y'all think about the sack cut. What does it do well? What kind of body proportion usually looks good in it? Does it even fit in your wardrobe if you happen to own one? What are some of the reasons you wouldn't want to own one? Feel free to add whatever you think about the sack cut, I'm interested in your experiences and knowledge.

It really depends what you're looking for. It's definitely classy, and fits most body types and is usually relatively loose
I'm more of a fan of british cut suits (I'm a brit so I kind of have to be but that aside) because they give a nicer (imo) more pronounced silhouette and feel to me to be a little more "gentleman" if that makes any sense
I always see it as the least dressy kinda suit - able to do more formal venues but also fits in as a more casual piece
then again I'm coming at it from a very amateur pov so I may be completely ridiculed by others on here who are pretty much experts - just my two cents
I know @The Teenage Gentleman lol knows a ton about them and has written about them multiple times

Suits for Two: The Vintage Brown 3PC Sack Suit from Brooks Brothers
Vintage, pre-1970’s brown herringbone sack suits from Brooks Brothers are pretty hard to come by. Well, Spencer and I found two!
i like the sack suit a) for what it is and b) within the context of trad ivy and certain trad menswear fits
for my specific aesthetic cues - mostly 90s, some 70s - i like a little more structure personally
