Corne top row not working

I recently purchased the full no solder corne kit. While the corne was charging I picked it up and felt an electric static shock. The top left row stopped working after this. I swapped my nice nano from the right side to the left, re-flashed and confirmed its working. When moving the nice nano from the left side to the right with new firmware, I confirmed the top row is not working as well.

It sounds like you're experiencing a hardware issue, likely related to the soldering or a short circuit, especially since the top row stopped working after the static shock. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the problem: 1. Check the Solder Joints: Since the top row is not working, it's possible that the pins for that row are not soldered properly. Inspect the solder joints on the nice!nano and the PCB for any issues. Make sure the connections are solid and not cold or broken. 2. Inspect for Shorts: Use a multimeter in continuity mode to check for shorts between the pins associated with the top row. A short could prevent the row from functioning correctly. 3. Identify Pins: Refer to the schematic for your Corne kit to identify which pins correspond to the top row. This will help you focus your inspection on the correct areas. 4. Check the Diodes: Each switch has a diode that could be faulty. Ensure that the diodes for the switches in the top row are correctly oriented and soldered. 5. Re-solder Connections: If you find any issues with the solder joints or diodes, re-solder them to ensure a good connection. If you've gone through these steps and the top row is still not working, it may be best to consult the troubleshooting section of the documentation for further guidance. If the issue persists, you might need to consider reaching out for support or replacement parts.

I haven’t been able to resolve this by looking at the docs. @Micky Would it be possible to replace the nice!nano that is causing this issue? Order number TA14174 Thank you! @Micky Do you have any tips to avoid this issue from happening again once I receive the new controller? The new nano worked perfectly to resolve this.
