Is this good for work? (Blue collar)

I'm thinking of buying these overalls for work. I'm gonna be in the engine room on a ship. I have some coveralls but they're pretty hot. What do you think?

If they meet whatever PPE requirements your employer has then sure

I think for these instances you shouldn’t care about how you look but if you are properly protected as soup says
