Outfit recommendations!
Hi guys! So I'm invited to a formal christmas event with a couple o' friends and I wanna look really good!

Black tie usually means a tuxedo.

You could double check if the organizers mean that. Sometime people throw out words because they sound fancy without knowing what they mean.
Okay i asked and they said "formal formal". But if we dont have a tux we can not wear it :D
I'd personally wear a tux bc I have one but otherwise a dark colored suit (black, charcoal, mignight navy) and a tie that compliments the color palette is probably a fine choice
