Valorant removes my wifi from my pc?
So this started a week ago and when I try to play valorant I can load in but after around a minute or two i lose wifi connection in game. But that’s not all it will then disconnect and remove wifi from my pc till I restart it.
I’ve been talking to riot about this all week and we’ve updated all drivers and tried removing things from my wifi and also safe starting any one got any idea a fix?

umm this happened to me actually even after that it never fixed then once i visited to the tech shop they told me that my wlan card attached to the motherboard was mpt working because of overheating it so you can still use it for applications who doesn't apply too much load to your pc but then again heavy applications can make the wifi disappear
whats weird is i can play fortnite, csgo, bo6 and warzone and none of those issues happen
My PC specs are
because these game uses gpu atleast but valorant is completely cpu based it puts pressure on the processor itself only utilizing that
13700k, 4070ti, 32 gigs of ddr5, 360 aio and my temps dont go over 35c in valorant but bo6 i hit up to 70c consistenty
my usage when i play is generally super low on my cpu
well then check with a tech shop actually i really went and they told me that my wlan card was not working properly might've happened the same to you
i unfortnately live far in the country so its hard for me to do that, its just strange it only affects valorant where as csgo and other games that utilize my cpu and raise its temps more arent having this issue
ya that same thing happened with me altho after that i use ethernet cable to directly suplly internet from the router
Yea I’m thinking of going to a friends just to test plugging Ethernet in to see if that fixes it
that will actually fix it
you probably have a wifi card that is considered as a dma card so vanguard blocks it, try to play with Ethernet or wait for an update
That’s what I was thinking as I use to play and then I did an update and haven’t been able to since even after re installing, if I installed league and tried to play it uses the same engine for anti cheat right?
yes it does
