my brand new nice!nano's pin 1.15 has a ground short
I Just received my lily58 build kit in the mail yesterday, and built it the same day.
I think I received a bad nice!nano.
I noticed one of my right keyboard's key column was not working and followed your well documented instructions.
using this link: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/build-guides/lily58-wireless/troubleshooting
I determined my nice!nano's p1.15 pin was short circuiting, but it is not short circuiting from either its neighbor's solder. I used my multitool to determine this and found that single pin is shorting out on all of the GND pins and the VCC pin.
Is there any way I could fix it? Otherwise, is it possible to get a replacement?
the left half of my board works perfectly though lol 😄
I also tried plugging in the good nice!nano to the right board and it works, so its definitely confirmed to be a short on the other nice!nano.
Thanks!

It sounds like you've done a thorough job troubleshooting your Lily58 build, and it's unfortunate to hear about the issue with your nice!nano. Since you've confirmed that the short is isolated to pin 1.15 and not due to soldering issues with neighboring pins, it may indeed be a manufacturing defect.
To address your situation, here are a couple of options:
1. Fixing the Short: If you're comfortable with soldering, you might attempt to fix the short by carefully desoldering the pin and checking for any debris or solder bridges that could be causing the issue. However, this can be tricky and may not guarantee a successful fix.
2. Replacement: If the short cannot be resolved, the best course of action would be to request a replacement for the defective nice!nano. Please reach out to our support team through the appropriate channels for assistance with obtaining a replacement. Be sure to provide them with details about your order and the issue you've encountered.
It's great to hear that the left half of your board is functioning well! If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to consult our troubleshooting documentation or reach out for support. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to resolve this issue for you quickly!
I’ll try desoldering and check for debris. Thanks!
It looks like there’s a pretty decent gash on the face side of the board’s p1.15 socket
yeah that looks like the culprit
can you share your order number?
sorry, just saw this. here's my order number: TA14143
@Micky can you send out a replacement nano?
