Trains not triggering overlaps
I'm not sure when this changed, but trains are not triggering overlaps anymore in any channel. Has anybody else run into this problem? is there a solution?

Does this affect the proximity sensor in CC+ too? Cause I tested that like only a patch or two ago.
Maybe. I got a report that the SS doors are no longer opening for trains, and confirmed they are no longer triggering overlaps. I've tried all collision channels. Have you been able to get an overlap recently?
I will test when I get time but it was working for trains a couple updates ago so it'd be a new development.
This is returning false, so I guess CSS disabled overlaps for trains (again)
Could someone with a very recent asset dump confirm that the property is now false?
The assets in my project are from 11-5 and shows it to be true. If it was changed then it was done in the last update. I don't see anything about train collisions in the patch notes
mircea did a new asset dump for ficsmas i thought
unless you mean the full art asset dump
Na, just a basic dump. I'll update my project, I need to do that anyway
Yup, there it is. Collision and overlaps were disabled in the last patch. 😢
well that's just the static mesh. You can check for collisions against the actor
yeah no, I'm doing that and it's not working -rip-
I'll see if manually forcing it will work, but it might cause other problems. I assume CSS disabled this for a good reason
probably just an optimization
This didn't work either. Now I wonder if that mesh still has collision :interesting:
Possible solutions are fading fast
Just change the whole collision profile name
as a test
I tried a few things, including the profile name change, and no dice.
They do not trigger overlaps anymore because vanilla does not need it so we have disabled overlap events on them
The vanilla doors no longer open for trains either. 😅
