Air Max 97 or VaporMax Plus
There’s a nice Nike sale right now and there’s these two pair of shoes that I’m really stuck between. I like the look of both but will only get one. Wondering if anyone owns either and if you think they are comfortable. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I think vapormax looks more interesting depending on how its styled
Ive had airmax 97, found them too narrow for something thats supposed to be athletic

I'm not sure the athletic utility of a shoe is related to its width
Some lasts are just wider (or narrower) than others
Ur right, I think i meant that it runs narrower than usual and i base it on all other nikes i have which are mostly athleisure-coded

Vapormax plus is worse for sure

I’ve heard the air max 97s are very stiff

Are there no sneaker stores near you where you can try them on? These are some of the most popular and widely distributed sneakers Nike makes.
You’re not going to get a read on if they’re comfortable for you based on whether they’re comfortable for some other random person on the internet.

I used to wear silver bullets (iconic colorway of the 97s) and they were perfectly comfortable for me.
I don’t really wanna pull up to a shoe store just to try on shoes then leave lol

Most customers don’t buy anything. I wouldn’t worry about it.
Better than buying shoes and walking around being uncomfy in them for sure
Anyway presumably there are holiday returns? So it’s not the end of the world if you end up not liking the fit?

I’d pick based on which you like the look of more and then return if they don’t work out.
I know that both of these shoes are years old. Think people see them as like overdone or like “out of style”
