seller on vinted wrote wrong measurements
so I bought a jacket from a French seller (I'm in Spain), photo said pit to pit was 56cm but it's actually 50cm, so I can't even button it. I think they measured shoulder to shoulder including the sleeves but the picture is clearly pit to pit, right? So what do I do now?

Try bringing it up with Vinted support, not much more to do.

Tell the seller first and ask for a return/refund.
If they refuse contact Vinted, but note you only have a few days to register a dispute

Sadly, they may have measured it the way you see it- unbuttoned/open. That happened to me once. A very useless measurement.
