Yes, they will work. You will either have to solder the leads directly to the board, or find and crimp your own JST PH connector. Either way, be sure to match the polarity: red to positive (+), and black to negative (-)

The 301230 will fit nicely under a socketed nice!nano, whereas the larger battery would have to reside elsewhere.

No solder needed, but you will need a way to cleanly crimp the metal sleeves around the ends of the wires before pushing sleeve and wire into the small plastic housing

There is a specialized tool for crimping them. You might be able to do it with pliers, but it might be hard to get the shape just right without the special tool

Pliers are fine, watch a video on YouTube, you just need to crimp the back part of the metal bit. Then each half slides right into the plastic housing.

Solder is better if you have it, since it creates a mechanical connection.
