This will be added to their stats.Enthalpy means you’re counting energy in each step like if I have Cl2 in liquid phase you have to give energy to make it gaseous then to get one Cl from the molecule then energy to remove one electron
Ionisation enthalpy in gaseous state is the same as ionisation energy tho

In my textbook it is written that ionisation energy and ionisation enthalpy are two different quantities. ionisation energy is the amount of energy provided to extract an electron from the outermost
