i had to make 4 equations for 4 variables v1 v2 01 02 and things got too complex i could not solve , How did it solve in just 2 equations

you can conserve energy for another equation and you will get the answer
They missed one equation
I technically used 2 equations but 2 times energy and 1 momentum in y axis
