DNS
Hello, I need help, I have a custom domain and a subdomain in a railway service, suddenly the main domain has stopped pointing to railway and they ask me to tell them the dns fields that I have to put so that it points to the railway server. I've been looking and they only give me a cname field, but the main domain only accepts A. Do you know what I can do? If I put the value of the cname that they give me for the main domain as if it were the IP in the A field, would it work for it to point to the railway server? thanks

yesterday the main domain ran out of ssl, while opening the custom domain gives me an error and no HTTPS.
I haven't changed anything and i see this
seems to be a top level domain issue,
for top level domain, you need a service with static IP and then set that to be a proxy to your railway service, some others here have used cloudflare for this
i guess you could use EC2 with nginx also for this, but i dont know, not so fun...
I try with clauflare but i dont know, i hope it works
should work, if you search for DNS issue or TLS issue in the help section it has been the solution for other
that is wildly incorrect, static IPs will only work for outbound traffic.
if you're domain provider does not support root level CNAMEs, you will need to use Cloudflare's nameservers
