NYC - Best consignment stores/thrift shops to sell shoes to?
Does anyone know of reputable consignment stores/thrift shops in NYC to sell nice sneakers to?
I’m trying to sell off some shoes like CP Achilles Low, Koio Capris, etc. that are barely worn because they didn’t fit me well. I don’t want the headache and risk of trying to sell them on my own so I’m considering consignment stores/thrift shops unless I’ll practically get nothing out of them.

Consignment is a tradeoff, less headache and hopefully a faster turnaround, but less money in your pocket
2nd street might take the CPs but you'd get a lot more letting them sit on eBay or grailed
I’m ngl those probably won’t have impressive sales value especially when consigning. I would try selling online if you want to get the most value back
2nd street will take them but you’ll probably be looking at getting $30-50 for the common projects and $20-$30 for the koios
Thanks! I’ll check out eBay and Grailed. I’ve never sold on either platform so I was apprehensive about the hoops I might have to jump through, but it sounds like it’ll make a big difference in payout.
Thanks! I’ll have to look into online platforms…
oh if you've never sold before I would also get rid of a couple cheaper things to build feedback
people will be apprehensive about buying $300 shoes from a seller with no transactions
That’s true. Is $300 a fair price for a pair of CPs worn like less than 10 times, or is that just an arbitrary number just for the purposes of this comment?
Arbitrary
like new CPs went for around $300 last time I checked, but that was at least 4 years ago
Lol okay. You got me excited there for a second
I checked and they go for between $100-$200
On grailed at least
Ah okay. Thank you so much!
