There's a uniqlo store on newbury
Also some good thrift stores i.e. garment district in Cambridge I've been to a lot
For something Boston/New England specific though Sault I have heard of but never been to but they have nice stuff from what I've seen
alan bilzerian on newbury is cool if u want to look at some really cool expensive shit
Bodega
oh if ur into streetwear, concepts is cool
& then there's riccardi for more high end stuff
The Harvard shops are fun!
Alan bilzerian and Drinkwater’s near Porter sq are very different but both are world renowned.
Alan is buddies with every top fashion designer from the last 50 years. It’s going to be more artisanal and avant garde but if u want to see what exists that is the place to go. Celebrities stop at his place when they visit town. I’ve had some amazing conversations with Alan. Ask him what Yohji or Rick are like in person.
Drinkwaters is traditional and workwear. They were one of the first to import engineered garments to the US.
Those are the two shops to see if u want something u can’t find in another city
Thanks everyone!
