show me a screenshot when it's done
mind unblurring the first ip, dw it's a local ip and completely safe to show
and is the ping jittery or always high?
sometime jittery with packet loss too
so its constantly higher and sometimes jittery?
hmm no it's never this high. the highest it goes is 80 with packet loss around 10%. at night its around 60 with no packet loss
are you using a vpn?
Get a better PC
it has nothing to do with your pc
YEah forgot.
sorry

No
@Cyber | Senpai Your and your friends high ping is due to your ISP using longer routes to reach Valorant servers, prob because of the limited fiber infrastructure in Pakistan.
You can try to use cloudflare warp (https://1.1.1.1) but its not guaranteed to fix the problem
I got put into a capetown server while living in europe
Your region must be set incorrectly
@Memi <33
The current status of the VALORANT servers can be found here:
https://status.riotgames.com/valorant?locale=en_US
cape town is eu
someone on eu can play on Capetown
Yeah its still in south africa and it randomly put me there ive also been on dubai servers once for whatever reason
you can select to only play on specific servers
Exactly and sometimes it turns off somehow and i get put in places like capetown etc same problem as the picture
that idk
have you tried reinstalling 😭🙏
idk 😔
I have it just decides for me sometimes which icl is fun
Make a new thread please and add ISP details in there, we can check it out
Thats correct 👍
cake town
imma call capetown to cake town
using a VPN will probably make your ping better than worse considering it's... Pakistan
like Lyra said atleast try cloudflare
I'll try cloudflare after work but the question is why do I need a vpn suddenly when I never use one before to solve the ping issue?
Is ny region correct?
it's just how your isp is handling route etc
something changed for the route your data takes towards our servers, might be provider in the middle deciding to route it a longer way around causing delays or latency jumps, until your provider or their transit provider gets a connection with us (logical or physical) then it wont be ideal
