Stains on a leather jacket. Could they be removed?
So a few weeks ago I found this Prada leather jacket from Marrkt (https://www.marrkt.com/products/leather-blazer-1?_pos=2&_sid=c58965e08&_ss=r). It was £175 at the time. There's a couple of marks on the garment. I've come back to the page and now it's £150. I'm wondering what types of stains are on this and if they could be removed, if at all, and how difficult would it be?

Do you like this jacket or do you like that it’s prada
Both? :linkThink:
Cop freeze aside I don’t think a leather blazer should be high up your list of things to buy
i checked my fashion inspiration folder and leather blazers show up in 9 photos out of 113 items (109 minus the subfolders).
White spots on the second photo look more like scuffs than stains to me but I don't have that much experience with leather items so take it with a grain of salt
Sam, I’ve never ever had a desire to own a leather blazer, let alone pay $150 for one
and for the black stains if you would be able to get it out would depend what stained it
I don’t think you should get this. I’d say get a navy blue blazer or a gray blazer
i don't really have any clue :FollowerShrug:
Stains can probably be conditioned out with leather products or by a cobbler/luggage repair shop
whether you want to buy this ugly blazer is your call tho
I mean this is a valid reason to want one but I'd agree with other people here that unless you're at a point with your wardrobe where all you're looking for is a statement piece and have some cash to blow then I wouldnt get it
I don't think I am, no.
Then imo I'd wait to buy something like this until you hit that point.
thanks :linkBow:
That's fewer than 10% of the images and you're very very early in your journey still. Pass.
Got it.
I see leather blazers on the Goodwill website all the time and nobody bids on them. If UK has an equivalent it wouldn't cost much to obtain one to satisfy your curiosity.
based on your style direction, I think a brown corduroy or moleskin blazer would serve you better than this
