It looks like you're getting a crash when trying to open the Unreal Editor - are you sure you downloaded our custom engine version as described in the docs?
Is the EngineAssociation in the uproject file set to the correct engine version?
Make sure to grab the Aspiring Modder role in https://discord.com/channels/555424930502541343/555442202780762143 if you haven't yet.

triggered by @RemusYou'd need to build the engine modules through the IDE, I think it's possible if you pretend they're a project plugin or something like that but I haven't tried
ehm how to do that ? or at least go back to the previous state
Going back to the previous state should be easy: undo any changes about plugins to
FactoryGame.uproject
I already answered this question
I'm looking for my answer
If you used Git,
git checkout FactoryGame.uproject
If you downloaded a zip, replace the FactoryGame.uproject
in the modding project with a fresh copy from the zip. If you deleted the zip, you can download an individual FactoryGame.uproject
😦 would you be able to jump on call please ?
so basically i rerun that ue 5.3.2 install in another folder and use these folders ?
Yes you install a full version of UE 5.3.2 which you can remove later
ok redownloading it now from git, and see how it goes
Ah, that involves getting the plugins from a regular UE install, from Epic
Yes
Reinstalling UE-CSS is moot, which I fear is what Remus understood
No I think he understood that he had to install a version next to CSS
"re"-run seems to imply running the (UE-CSS) installer
Well, we'll see what Remus understood 😄
i just formated my pc 😄
and did a cleanup
Okay, I see you opted for the nuclear option :LUL:
yes, now is all clean and working
wish i could do models in UE5 instead of blender
Perfect, but you'll see that you still need to go back to Blender
UE 5.3.2 Modeler is not as powerful and precise as Blender or Maya or other
Any particular reason you'd want to avoid creating in a model creation specific program?
Ue does make it super fast, once your model is imported you just need to right click > reimport to update your changes
