Open builder block picker in modal instead of dropdown
Hi
I'd like to use a modal for my builder field's block picker (instead of a dropdown). Does anyone know if that's possible?

It should be possible. You can override the addAction on the builder. I think it would take some work though to wire it back up though. I don’t think it would be as simple as making the existing one a modal.
Yeah the wiring-it-back-up part is what I'm unsure about. Probably not worth it. Would be an awesome feature to have in core a some point... The dropdown gets pretty unwieldy with lots of blocks (even with columns)
