Issues Installing Bazzite On Legion GO
so I've been having nothing but issues trying to install bazzite on my legion GO. I installed a brand new 2 TB SSD and wanted to run just bazzite. so far its given me an error twice saying "failed to write boot loader config" and than last night it got stuck on an install loop (for over 8 hours)
I'm going to try and flash the USB again using fedora media writer but I'm starting to lose hope. hopefully someone can give me some sort of potential solution?

And once again is has stalled on this part of the install
Circle is still moving but no progress
Use a faster USB stick
alright trying a different hopefully faster usb stick
i have an extra Micro SD card would that be faster probably?
I’m trying to install Bazzite, but I can’t bring up the software keyboard to connect to the WiFi network. I saw some people saying you can press Legion+X but it’s not working
Tried a MUCH faster USB and it's still giving me this?
It made it past the install loop, but now it's back to this screen
There's no keyboard in the installer
Did you manually partition?
Make sure to follow the guide
The video guide i was following just said when chocking the internal ssd to just reclaim all on it. Was this incorrect?
That's too broad of a statement
Using the full drive should not result in that error
Try making the partitions manually using the dualboot huide
Ahhh sorry ill try to be more specific. So upon booting from USB, when selecting the partition options, I select the new internal SSD (2TB), reclaim space, followed by delete all, reclaim space again. After entering my user info and password I begin the install process.
Its starts installing like normal until it reaches said screen. For reference I was using a video by ETA prime. But I will try the dual guide and manually partition to see if that fixes things
F41 has a new bootloader system
@Noel can you repro later?
What is F41? Sorry very new to all of this so I just want to make sure I'm understanding as I go
We need to push up the new ISOs based on 41
@Kyle Gospo have we merged those changes from testing yet?
We can work on that tonight
I have a Mesa fix to finish and then we can do a push
awesome
I have not been able to reproduce this error fyi
Fedora 41
Ah thanks you! I assume it was the OS
Yeah all of ublue is based off of fedora atomic
Good to know!
if it makes any difference at this point, i followed the manual partition guide for dual boot and still no luck
it may be something to do with the bios settings
Try to ignore?
will try that right now
running post installation scripts
says complete
reboot system
guess ill see what happens
Enroll MOK
password: universalblue
password doesnt match
would it be the password i set up in the user data before install?
it ask to enroll keys, hit yes, password and neither universalblue or my password work
Bout into bazzite and run
ujust enroll-secure-boot-key
and set the password correctly for the key.
The mok enrollment screen uses US qwerty layout and we cannot change it
If you cannot boot bazzite then turn off secure boot first in bios and turn it on after the key is enrolled
