Can yall help me pick a fall cologne for 35-40$ and link where I can order it, a lot are hard to find online.
I’m getting another one in winter so don’t worry about that

What do you want to smell like?
I can’t smell at all
Doesn’t matter to me
Whatever is the most like
Conventionally appealing lol
One that doesn’t smell like it’s meant for women I’ve noticed that with a lot of fall things
That’s not worded right but yall know what I mean
Try Versace pour homme?
Issey miyake pour homme vetiver?
Idk
Pretty much something that you would smell and be like “yeah that’s for fall” but isn’t feminine
And is under 40 bucks
Thats 105$
Wdym? Are you physically incapable of smelling?
Yes
$40 is a really low price point for any fragrance. In general you can buy decants to get an idea of what something is like off websites like scent split. I would always recommend buying something off there before you commit to a full bottle of anything.
I have (almost) no sense of smell
I can’t tell what they smell like to pick between them lol I just want something publicly appealing
Oh okay I see. Lush has one that’s called Guardian of the forest or sth, that’s pretty fall like
I would just go to a mall with someone you trust and get their opinion in person
Ok idk what I was looking at then
Thank you for the link
Still leaves room they like it and other people don’t
Maison Alhambra Tobacco Touch is the only thing I can think of that is 1- vaguely fall vibes, 2-masculine, and 3- under 40$ a bottle.
you'll have a lot more options if you are ok with it being just a 40$ masculine one that isn't like a summer cologne or with one that is 40$ a bottle and is fall themed but its more of a unisex smell.
Last time I got something I got told I smelled like a woman
Basically just not that and it’s fine
Id lean more towards the second choice there as long as that doesn’t happen lol
Stick some wood chips in your pocket and don’t shower again
Then another good option is Club de Nuit Intense Man by Armaf. Nothing about it screams "fall smell" (though nothing about it screams any other season) but its a cheap and great super masculine smell for under 40$ a bottle.
You don't need to wear cologne, and honestly I'd recommend not if you have no sense of smell (you have no idea if what you're putting on smells good on you, how much you've put on). It's a nice thing that some people like and can get into, but it can also be really fucking obnoxious if misused.
I only spray twice
It's different for every fragrance though
And I pretty much only know what I have works because people tell me
That might be way too much depending on what you're using
It’s probably gonna be trial and error to find out
Id get told pretty quickly if it was too much
only if it was seriously overkill but if its only a little too much people probably wouldnt bother bringing it up
Chopper's is the best advice you're going to get
I got called a slur because the last one I bought smelled feminine
In the area I live I’ll get told lol
so given that reality you are still interested in buying something you can't smell yourself?
I'm sorry Im a little confused here
I would place a solid bet on that being much more about homophobia than people breaching the politeness barrier because the scent is overpowering. Aside anything else, like why would you bother given it being a completely optional accessory (and added expense)?
If you can get someone you know to help you test it then go for Club de Nuit Intense Man by Armaf, its pretty much exactly what people think when they think mens cologne. If you dont imo choppers advice is best just stick to not having a cologne
also sorry to hear you got called a slur
Ok yeah I’ll just get that and outright ask someone how much
Can you link it cologne is weirdly hard to find online
It’s sold out on one spot on Amazon and another it’s 70$
And then there’s a site selling it for 12$
I’m fine lol the slur doesn’t even apply to me
Women tell me they like what I have now
Seems like asking the women in your life what they like on you would be the best course of action if that's important to you then.
If you are getting complements on what you're using now why get something different?
So these aren’t women I consistently talk to
That doesn’t work
Which takes us back to, knowing what smells good on you and how much to use is important. If you can't smell that, just be clean and well groomed and you're losing nearly nothing. Or just wear what you wear now if it's having the desired effect.
Idk I wanna change it up
I’ve had the same thing since I was a highschool sophomore
Like, if you could smell and are into fragrance I get why seeking novelty might be important, but if this is based on transient comments from women you don't really know or interact with regularly why change something that's working on the terms you seem to value?
Valid point
Imo I think chopper is right here but if you dont want to listen to him then one last bit of advice for the cologne I sent. It has a pretty strong lemon openeing then after about an hour you can smell the other notes and thats pretty much what it'll smell like for the next 6 hours. So if you have someone smelling it for you make sure they smell test you a few times over a few hours.
Thank you all
Yeah no that makes sense
