For the widgets settings I noticed there is a different list view for selecting a path from a connected server. Is this expected?

Should be the same for the wind gauges
That’s new, being able to select what to use for wind speed
Or maybe I don’t understand,
Ah makes sense. So multiple options have this list view before selecting the path
If it requires more than one source
Yes
Like AWS + AWA vs just AWS
It’s a nice feature compared to the prior version. Nice work
And now with widgets, since they don’t show realtime, it’s nice to be able to show averages.
Static metrics are a really nice feature. I think I’m going to setup an ngrok tunnel and do away with the cloud services for influx and Grafana once the remote sk connection has been tested a little bit. Your app just saved me $50/month for those
I’ll get the ngrok tunnel working today so I can test the connection at home
I’m using ngrok, works great.
Okay I was able to connect via ngrok while off the boat network. There is about a half a second lag 😍
One thing I noticed is the notifications settings are not allowing me to check remote and local push notifications. These are enabled on my other devices
You entered username and password for the connection?
No login but I did request admin access
Also without those checked and off of the boat network I am still getting push notifications
Yeah, once you’ve done that with any connection, you’ll get notifications
You approved the access request in the admin console?
Yes I did
Everything works as if I’m on the boat network, but fully on cellular only
Which is f-ing fantastic!
I wonder if there’s something broken with the access requests?
Are you able to change things? Like flip a switch?
I don’t have a relay hooked up to SK to turn on and off. Just monitoring the state of one
But I can set one up. I have a 12v Shelly I can use
Another way to tell is if you can access “Server Plugins” under Settings
Server Plugins is not a menu item in Settings
Ok. Then you are not authenticated as an admin.
To be honest, I have not tested that with the new version.
Put in your username and password.
Yeah let me try logging in.
Pretty sure the other devices are logged in
Did you approve the access request on the admin console? Or via the WilhelmSk notification?
Okay that was it. I approved via the console. Now have server plugins menu in settings
And can check the remote notifications
Thanks for the support. Just needed to login
Hmm. Says “Not supported by Server”…
“Remote Push Notifications” should have been checked already. Yes?
If I understand your question, yes the checkboxes were automatically checked once authenticated
