The General Manager of NetEase Games’ Marketing Department, identified only as Xiang, and others have been taken in for investigation.
“The situation is still in its early stages, and the final results will take some time,” said a NetEase employee. “The marketing division is extensive, with several departments, including the Channel Center and the Marketing Department.” It’s understood that most of the executives under investigation are from the Marketing Department. Another NetEase employee noted that in recent years, the company has been intensifying its crackdown on corruption, particularly investigating cases where employees used their positions to accept bribes from suppliers. With voting, there's little chance to get the things you want already, now you have to wait forever for a small chance to get the things you want and a yearly such event isn't even guaranteed. To me, after wearing my favourite outfit in the game for just a week, I feel bored and disenchanted because they took it back. 🤷♀️ I seriously considered quitting.

I’ve been playing every day for a year now. I wouldn’t say I’m an “easy to quit” player, in case that’s what you were insinuating.
It’s done this before, and reverted after a patch. Probably just a bug.
Most Developer only checking on their Seasonal Player than daily players
So even if you try being Active, they will still won't fulfill your hopes or demands
Even if there are people who Quit, for the Developers it is just speck of dust since they have Many to get Money from
You are more of Rage Quit player than Easy to Quit honestly.. People who Quit after their Demands didn't get solved or given are often called as Rage Quit Players
For them to comeback as Player or not is up to them
One thing for sure that you must remember though
No Developer of any kind of Game will try to 100% fullfilling demands of Players. They also will never 100% fixing Problems in their Game. So when you try to Play a Game and they ended up with those Problem. It is better to just close your Eyes and enjoy the Game, instead of getting Rage Quit due to Bugs or Complaints that didn't get fullfilled
If you felt tired with the Game, you can Stop and try to do something else until you felt ready to go back

Well, she’s far removed. So maybe that line of the family could be.
It still really depends on the lore. It also seems weird that they would force a family on the mc and I’m hoping for some type of manipulation in this. We had the best villain trope with the Mysterious Malady (imo). Innocent/nice person was actually the bad guy. It also seems super suspicious. MC’s family knows they’re a witch/wizard, so why didn’t Glenna reach out then? Why wait until MC has some fame? For all we know, the cat could just be friendly with everyone. There are cats like that in the real world.

Plus, there are cool seasonal achievements for getting to GM level. The duelling bug prevents people from getting those.
Getting that fixed really does need to be a priority
i still hope they fix it soon, even though i dont care about dueling at all but some seasons has nice rewards that you need to reach GM
