Is $150 a good price for a wool overcoat?
I'm new to eBay shopping, found this one that looks pretty good, but should I wait to find a better deal?

Wow this is a really nice coat
Not a BB knower so I can’t tell you anything about the price but it looks nice
I'd say that's a great price for secondhand
you could try to bargain down but I think it's fair for something in fairly new? condition from the pics
decent deal for brooks assuming it's in good shape internally
you could probably get a similar jacket for less by not just looking for brooks brothers (unless it's to resell)
just a heads up that it looks like it's only cupro lined
(not really a problem unless you're in a super cold area)
watchlist it, the seller might have it automatically set to trigger an offer
what is the implication of cupro lining? I haven't heard of it
and what is the preferred lining?
I live in the great lakes area so it does get cold
cupro is your typical high end lining for coats compared to polyester
but some coats built for warmth also have stuff like quilted lining with down/stuffing *in between to make it warmer
just something to keep an eye on depending on how much you want to layer underneath
gotcha. I do tend to prefer to layer, so I think the thinner lining is alright
I tend to overheat if I'm walking around with a coat that's TOO too warm
gotcha
should be fine then 🫡
excellent. thanks everyone!
