Something's off about this outfit, what is it?
I don't love this outfit and I can't put my finger on why. I feel like maybe the pants are too white? Idk, something about the shirt and pants combo doesn't quite work. What do you think?

The pants are too small - you can tell by the 'whiskering' around the front and the flared pockets.
oh interesting, I wasn't thinking about fit. they feel really good but maybe I am too accustomed to an incorrect pant size
I see what you mean about the whiskering though
I'm also not a fan of the pant's cut, but this is personal preference. I find the slim legs disproportionate with the upper body and large-ish shoes, while the low rise extends your torso and makes it hard to tuck, as seen by how the shirt is kinda pulled apart just below the last button.

Colors - I think are fine. Cream and light blue are very neutral. Can go with anything.
that's a great point about the rise. I just bought some wool flannel that are higher rise so hopefully that'll help
I like the slim legs though, I think it looks a bit sharper for my height
I'm not on board with the wide leg trend yet lol
Fwiw I think the cut is alright, if that’s what you like it’s what you like, a pair with a higher rise and maybe a size up would go a long long way!
