Also Sanders shoes make derbies for the UK police and forces dress uniforms that could work nicely for you.

They fit a lil wide but I take usual UK size/ 1 full down from US
actually it depended on the leather for me. Shell was a full size down and suede/calf was .5
Probs not all that helpful but I nearly always size by EU size over anything else and going for my "usual* EU45/46 in trickers worked for me Vs red wings, yuketen, docs, Alden.
