Unbootable bazzite install (gamescope session)
So as I mentioned in https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1087140957096517672/1300290953327804438
I suddenly got a blue boot restore screen every time I tried to boot bazzite (windows is unaffected)
After to trying a different keyboard I was able to bypass this screen and continue booting
But then I get the black screen with the journal errors
The system continues to boot though and I can get into a tty but it immediately reboots on me and starts the whole process over again.
According to Google the journal errors indicate a bad CPU or bad CPU socket but again windows works fine and it's only bazzite.
I tried booting a live USB image i have of fedora and that booted without issue as well.

But WTF DO FEDORA AND WINDOWS BOOT JUST FINE?
It makes no sense to me 😖
Heck even the bazzite iso starts fine so no idea whats going on here
Guess I have to wipe my cursed old install
Hmmm got it to boot once after chrooting into the bazzite install from a bazzite live USB and disabling LACT
As it seemed to be that but can't get it to boot anymore.
Windows continues to work with no issues
WTF disabling gamescope session fixed it 😖
So guess steam game mode is borked
This is so strange if I leave the default behavior of the deck image to auto boot into game mode everything freezes and I have to force reboot the system.
If I then chroot into the system and run
ujust _toogle-autologin
And then reboot into the system every thing works fine.
I can even manually go into the gamescope session with no issues by double clicking the return to gamemode desktop icon.
It's the auto boot to gamescope that's broken any ideas @Kyle Gospo
I really do run into the strangest issues...
No idea why autobooting to steam game mode is a problem but auto booting to KDE then manually switching to steam game mode works fine

and its repeated several times so looks like something is blocking gamescope from running on tty1?
