game not launching when using a certain combination of mods
I've been trying to use distant horizons 2.2.1-a, chunky 1.4.16, and a worldgen mod (big globe 4.5.0) together. unfortunately, the game seems to not want to work at all when trying to use some combinations of the 3. here's what ive tested:
chunky or big globe on their own: works fine
chunky and big globe: works fine
dh with chunky and/or big globe: see first image
dh and iris 1.8.0-beta.4+1.21.1 on their own or with the other 2 mods: see second image
dh, iris, sodium 0.6.0-beta.2+mc1.21.1 on their own or with the other 2 mods: stuck on launching game (starting jvm) for at least 5 minutes but no crashes
once i find crash logs i can provide them

Where is this screen even from?
Clients
Hacked clients, PVP clients, optimization clients, etc. are problematic for multiple reasons, particularly when it comes to mod compatibility. You may run into issues like rendering glitches or crashes due to their built-in modifications to Minecraft. They are unsupported by Iris and are not recommended. Instead, we recommend using a launcher that does not modify Minecraft itself, such as Prism Launcher, Modrinth App, or even the vanilla launcher from Mojang. You can find a list comparing trusted launchers at https://mc-launcher.tayou.org.

oh yeah should have mentioned this is lunar client
There will be no support provided for use with those clients
Instead make the switch to the likes of Prism and create a proper instance with the mod loader of your choice, likely fabric
if thats a problem i can try it on vanilla client or one of the clients from the website
cool
Prism is the go-to option for third-party clients
Classic Lunar Client moment. You have to replace Lunar's version of Sodium in their reserved mods folder to even have the launcher loads Sodium from the mods folder, otherwise it will just be ignored, causing so many unnecessary headaches to the uninformed.

I follow a zero-trust policy for those pvp clients, far too sketchy
Yes, it is possible to continue using Lunar Client for modded sessions, but that's not what you use PvP clients for to begin with...
