Shelly plugin of @Scott Bender & visualizing by Kip @David Godin
I plan to add approx 30 Shelly 1 Gen3 for mostly DC and some AC switching using the Shelly plugin and visualizing/UI within #kip on my Victron Cerbo.
Before starting my project:
Will the plugin be able to manage the amount of Shelly's?
Is the plugin build to manage all onboard switching?
Will Kip allow building groups of several Shelly's to one virtual switch? i.e. 5 different lights = 5 Shelly's by one switch in Kip?
Will the status of the Shelly's be shown in Kip even without switching a Kip-switch? i.e. Shelly allows using a manual switch and the Shelly will show the status on/off.

The plugin will be able to handle them. But I don’t know if it supports that device
i wasnt sure if the shelly 1 gen3 could be Dc powered?
ah yep it does, neat, this is now very useful! (12V and 24-48VDC ) coool
The product Shelly 1 Gen 3 is the successor of Shelly Plus 1, the standard Shelly switch without metering.
Yeah, after realizing the abilities and simple installation of the Gen3 Shelly 1 it's everything else than easy to stop having ideas what to do onboard 😉
@x4y5z6 KIP supports all path of Boolean or 1/0 numeric values. I’m not too knowledgeable about Shelly, yet. Maybe Scott can enlighten us on this aspect.
