6700xt low vram clock
So randomly(usually after idling in the steam Ui)
My vram clock get locked at 675.
I can start a game and the vram will still clock at 675 causing really bad performance until I reboot my PC.
Any ideas? I tried setting the performance mode to max clock in lact with no luck

Apparently I need to switch to x org to fix this...
Is this possible on bazzite
you can layer x11 but the issue you are linking are for kernel 6.4 while bazzite are on 6.9
Yeah but it sounds like it was never fixed because it can't be fixed in the kernel
It's something on the tv side
Looks like the issue will also be how will I load the modified EDID into the initramfs.
I don't think I can write to
/lib/firmware/edid/
So like can you not just download LACT and set the Vram speed manually
like i said in the OP i tried that and it doesnt work
it stays stuck at 675 mhz
Huhh removing LACT fixed my issue....
Haven't had any issues with the vram clocking since removing LACT.....
Any ideas why lact would cause this?
Only increase the power limit to 213 from 180 and a slight overclock of 100 MHz on the core clock and 75 on the vram
should add i tested with several benchmarking tools to make sure that the overclock is stable and achtually runs faster
