lod generation issues in DH 2.1.2a

this is the LOD generated regarding a group of crpress trees from BWG mod, as you can see that these are just the projection/illusion of real trees, these trees were already removed before the LOD generation, and they will disappear when I get closer. I tried to swtich to pre-existing generation emthod to avoid this problem, however when I use that method for initial LOD geneartion, LOD generation will not function when I swtichted the method to feature geneation, no LOD will generate beyond the vanilla render distance. The first issue also occures with the natrually melted snow in snow! real magic mod, is there are method to fix these two problem at once? large scale chunk update seems could erase the illusion but would not be a easy task, are these issues fixed in newer version of DH? thanks

The only way to do perform large scale chunk updates is by deleting the LODs and regenerating them. To update a single chunk, you can try turning up cpu load in DH's settings and placing/breaking blocks in the chunk
i tried pre-existing generation method then feature geneation for further region in maximum cpu usage mode then the problem seems to be solved, im wondering if feature generation method is simply based on the method how the world will be generated?
Yes, that's correct. Feature is normal, and surface is faster but less accurate.
