Memory Leak 2.2.1-a 1.20.1
I am getting a DH memory leak in 1.20.1 from 2.2.1-a where the ram maxes out (no matter if its 16+), game freezes, then eventually crashes https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/881614131877269586/1291139007274684509/2024-10-02_13.34.13.png?ex=67196067&is=67180ee7&hm=f5168b668f8aad4885fef0a60ad64c4e1e2ecd4770bed1ed33250f3bd40c31f8&=&format=webp&quality=lossless&width=2101&height=1182

I was told to remove custom JVM arguments, but after resetting them, and only changing the allocated ram to 8gb, the issue has persisted

It also looks exactly like this help post made a month ago https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1283629476021801053/1283867119045312553
Can you try with just DH and see if that works?

installed seperately they work fine, but considering the guy from the other post was using diff world gen mods, I'd assume any conflicts between world gen mods will cause that error with DH
oh thats weird. nothing in logs?
I can send you them if you tell me how
/logsstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.Works fine (Wilder Wilds installed only)
memory leak/crash
mb holdup
can you send your latest.log file?
ye I see it
if the latest log is from the last play session, then it will work fine because I generated solely with wilder wilds
I'll go crash my game again for science....
This time it didnt crash but it produced the error and caused massive stuttering afterward

maybe
i'd say its more likely it just ran out of error when trying to place the tree
but im far from an expert
well it was using 20-30% before trying to place the tree, then stuttering and climbed gradually to 100%. Allocated 8gb, 12gb, 16gb of ram, didnt matter for only 34 RD
