Under water form transparent blocks??
It seems like there is something that makes underwater diving less aesthetically pleasing due to the chunk loads being transparent and visible

Can you try setting fog to enabled?

:4337sapo: I don't edit it but can't change its value. It defaults to False on DH 2.3.0
You can't change its value? Why not?
I dont know why @@
That is very weird
Can you try editing the config file directly?
The config file doesn't even have that line so it can be adjusted manually
:4337sapo:
Wait what
Yebb
I'll try to replicate this when I get home
Ermmm not file config
This is that setting right ?
I believe so yes
So it is there?
That's good at least
But in game it false @@ cant change it
:depressed:
It should be true now
Now that you edited the config file
No, I haven't changed. This is the default value
But ingame it's set False
Oh what
Th rabbit hole gets deeper
Yes, you heard right. I still can't change it. As you found
:4337sapo: I don't know what's wrong with it but its value in the menu is can't change file default configuration set to True
it's newest ver nightly builds DH
i think i know the reason
do you have shaders enabled?
the same thing happens when i have shaders enabled
🧐 Dowgrade nightly build it's work
newest not
but do you have shaders enabled or not?
Nope
here
thats weird. let me update to the latest nightly and see if it also fails for me
im using the nightly from like a week ago atm
yep, same thing happens to me
:thenk:
cant enable fog, even when i have shaders off
Will it be fixed in the next update?
:depressed:
We'll see
You can stick to 2.2.1 for now
Try deleting your config file and using the latest nightly build.
Lastest build have same problem
Remove your other mods and see if that resolves the problem.
It's likely that another mod is disabling DH's fog via the API, preventing you from changing it (I'll have to see if I can make the UI change when that's the case since it is confusing).
Is there a way to know which API is causing this issue? All the previous nightly builds worked fine until the last three versions, which started causing this problem :depressed:
Update
The cause has been identified as BClib from BetterX!!
