Style feedback: cords and a hoodie.

Hello! I'm looking to get some feedback for the waywt I posted earlier. I want to see what works and what doesn't. https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1297129644629168160

just from my personal preference the sweats are a little too tight. would prefer a looser fit, maybe a straight leg. i like the hoodie, would probably layer a different colored shirt underneath shoes are cute!

Thanks! Yeah the cords are definitely somewhat tight, especially on the leg, probably a bit too much like you said. As for the shirt color, I think I was going for something similar to the hoodie, but I was thinking back to my inspo poster and it's a different colour shirt so yeah, I could try that out. I got the shoes on holiday in Lanzarote. I'll see what I can come up with when I get back home

I don't have any more cords so I went which chinos. The pair on the first image are Levis and the one on the second image are Polo Ralph Lauren.

I like the vintage PRL a lot

Yeah, I think the baggy look on the PRL trousers works What about the shirt? The polo shirt was one I ordered from Marrkt. It's also PRL.

The second pants are stellar definitely keep those. The buttoned up polo doesn’t work for me personally. The contrast between the orange and the blue is just too harsh. IMO a basic plain colored tshirt would be your best bet here The length of the pants is perfect too really good choice there

I've got a couple of plain tees I could try What colours would be ideal here for a t-shirt?

I don't mind the polo but I wouldn't button it up all the way

I tried it on with a bunch of different t shirts and long sleeve shirts They're about as plain as I can find.

Maybe by tucking in the shirt you could create a nicer silhouette

How is it looking now? :linkHotCocoa: I know Stevie's got some baggy trousers in his waywts if I wanted inspiration

Hmm I think with this hoodie untucked might look better because there’s too much of a gap between where the trousers start and the hoodie ends. But that’s just based on my taste and how I wear things, others might disagree Was worth a try though But if you are looking in general to find your style, would recommend to build up a pinterest inspo board with fits you like either from here #waywt and/or instagram, then see what all those fits have in common and go on from there

Yeah Im with Dogma here - the gap is too large from the trousers to the hoodie. I think that the top left with the untucked brown shirt is probably the best here in terms of how the garments fit your body. I dont entirely love the shade of brown but thats being nitpicky. I think all of these are a definite improvement from your first fit with the very slim pants

The gap? 🤔

Dogma explained it better than I did “Hmm I think with this hoodie untucked might look better because there’s too much of a gap between where the trousers start and the hoodie ends. But that’s just based on my taste and how I wear things, others might disagree”

I'm finding it difficult to see the gap

Gap from shirt to hoodie seems long It’s a small at nitpicky thing just as mentioned before I wouldn’t sweat it over such a detail But see how the gap between my tshirt and jacket is a lot shorter

Not saying that this fit is great or anything like that more so just that a shorter gap like this is my preference and is what I meant when I said a shorter hoodie could make your outfit potentially more cohesive As always there’s a lot of personal taste that goes into this stuff so if you think I’m completely wrong here or that you prefer a longer gap then keep doing it!
