Crash doesn't seem mod related. Does the crash continue to occur with mods uninstalled?
I've had crashes related to bugged pipes (gonna take days to hunt it down) but it only ever occurred when the game was closed out. Never when I was just idling.

If it helps @Deci, I am having this same issue but with hypertubes. Crash is both on exit and when attempting to delete the offending segment. I have been unable to solve this so far.
I do not have mods or the loader installed at this time. Game is entirely vanilla.
Did you use a blueprint to make said pipes? Because I had that issue, and the solution is to essentially delete any instances of that blueprint using satisfactory calculator.
Yes and no. The blueprints were able to be removed with a maybe 1/5 crash rate. I just brute forced it and saved often. However, the current segment I'm working with is... much more stubborn. 100% crash rate, and unfortunately not a blueprint.
This issue seems to be repeatable by making extremely short segments of pipe.
If just use satisfactory calculator to delete anything offending, and save often.
I loaded an earlier save, but I'll keep that in mind if the issue reoccurs. Hopefully this is useful to you as well Deci, sorry for the partial hijack
It turns out my issue was with Hypertubes as well. I deleted all the pipes in the game and still got the crash.
Light bulb went off and started deleting hypertubes and that was the issue.
Incredibly ironically, Im now experiencing the hypertube crash....
It's like no win situation with the frequency of crashing right now.
Yea it was a massive pain to fix my world. It's OK now and I removed all blueprints using the bugged segment from the menu
