Modular Load Balancers crashing the game
Hello! I've installed Modular Load Balancers mod and the game suddenly doesn't want to open (it crashes). I've checked this behaviour by enabling and disabling the mod, and WITHOUT the mod the game opens normally, but when activated it crashes. I've also tested that this happens when i have installed
Infinite Zoop
and Digby Tool
(both by the same author).
Here is the mod list that i have (bear in mind that i disabled the mods by SirGidby to test if the game opens normally):
I send also the unreal crash diagnostics via txt.
Let me know if anyone has had this trouble or what can i try. Thanks!Solution:Jump to solution
Yeah, i did update the mods and now is fixed but wtf man xD. That was the last thing i expected it to be, but thank you so much!

It appears your crash was generated from a copy of the game that does not have mods installed. We likely can't help with it. Please use the Unreal crash reporter dialog to report the error the game developers and/or report it on the official discord and QA site.

Hooking issues can probably be solved by a restart of your computer or a verification of game files. Also make sure your mods are all up to date.
@AguuSz Update your mods.
wow, how did you end up with an
IsUsingMods: No
crash with SML in the stack trace 🤔
anyways, the cause of the crash was a rare hooking edge case as described in the bot message, so try that (as well as updating your mods)Solution

Have seen something like that before. It was a different method, but it was due to another mod hooking at the same function before MY mod, and doing something weird. The person that had that issue removed the other mod, reinstaled, and suddenly all just worked 😅

hooking
triggered by @Marcio <Checkers/Copier/WallSup>maybe it causes the mods to load in a different order and them all just works 😅
Maybe it failed to load SML itself, and the game them assumed it was "not there"? Althought it is dependency of almost all mods, so I guess it would be loaded first 🤷🏽♂️
Have the sae problem – sometimes, rarely, dismantling load balancer crashes the game.

nullschematic
(Known error
nullschematic
) Note to mod developers: the mod FicsitWiremod is attempting to register a null schematic, as of SML3.6 this is no longer a crash but should still be resolved. This could be caused by leaving a null entry in the list, or by referencing content from a mod that is not loaded at runtime.Outdated mods found!
