Show us some pictures of what kind of looks you think are cool, what kind of outfits you don’t consider to be too basic and we’ll try to recommend stuff!

i bought a leather jacket today but it was more or less of a panic purchase (because it was cheap and only one was left) so i might return

Ok I see some casual collared shirts, some wide jeans/ pants and plain tees, coupled with a leather jacket. Would you like some recommendations for items like that or some help with color and stuff as well?

Looks like your style is quite close to these already from that one pic! The jeans look like they would swap into one of those outfits pretty well, and the hoody is cool too tbh. Agree, just some casual over shirts and a light jacket would pretty much get you there

In your price range I’d want to recommend Abercrombie for some shirts and stuff, you’ll find some good things there. Also Bronson if you want some more vintagey/military type pieces. The jackets in your pics are probably somewhat more slouchy and lived in than the one you’ll be getting. Have you considered getting a jacket second hand?

Those don’t look half bad! Try not to be too married to what you consider your size. Be prepared to size up or down depending on your desired fit.

i have thought about it and looked a little (not much tho) but the thing i hate about second hand shopping like ebay or something is that u cant return the stuff and that it might look completely different than in the pictures 😭 or do u mean like a flea market or something

I’ve gotten great leather jackets at flea markets, and I don’t necessarily live in a very urban area

yeah definitely i gotta watch the prices tho

Def. wait for sale or check out second hand options (measure an item you like and pick items with similar measurements) Many cheaper options will often be more of the “falling apart” variety

Oh we almost forgot about :uniqlo: They will have stuff in this style for sure I think they key to the aesthetic you've got in your inspiration pics is: simple basics, oversized boxy fit, and layering of t-shirts / hoodies / jackets With neutral colours

It really doesn't affect what clothes or style you can wear anyway so I wouldn't worry about it

If you're budget limited look into thrifting and vintage. If you find a piece and can imagine it in an outfit that you love which features 1. Utilizing clothes you have 2. Utilizing clothes you would like to have Buy the item and experiment! Have fun and don't spend too much money as you learn, your style will come together through trial and error
