second outfit for formal fraternity events
I go to too many date parties now and can’t wear the same outfit every time like I did last year. I can’t figure out what equivalent formalness to what I have would be though to get an alternative one. Here’s my current one (cowboy boots not pictured)

Half the people show up with blazers and just leave them at the house 15 minutes in
I wore a wrangler shirt with a tux
Only issue with having to order clothes is that I’m 240 pounds and my shoulders are over twice as wide as my waist

Gotten told it’s too big of a difference to tailor I think made to measure is my only route

One worked fine when I had a girlfriend and only went to my date parties but now that I’m going to sorority ones too I’ve worn this outfit 9 times since mid august
I would just get more colors of shirt, maybe a navy or some lighter colors

After that rough combination of dress shirt and pants
And I ask people where they get their stuff and their like “oh I got it made in Florence” bro I can’t do that
Just get a few wrangler shirts. They’ll look cool with the cowboy boots
I wear them because they make me 6”8 and it’s funny I’ve been meaning to get other semi formal shoes
They even have black
The boots are also just the most formal shoes I own

Still end point is just grab a few more colors of shirt, probably stick darker but I could see a white or pastel working, I rock the pink dress shirt occasional. Maybe another neutral pant like navy or darker grey

I would keep the grey a bit darker maybe, but also I personally just don’t like light grey

Take comprehensive measurements, compare to brand measurements on websites, buy stretch stuff if you can find it
It does actually bc then you know what your measurements are and what measurements the clothes need to be
And opt for higher rise and wider leg vs slim and low
I’m willing to bet you’d be surprised at how easily you’ll be able to shop once you’ve got your measurements figured out

American eagle athletic cut jeans fit me perfectly I’ve just never found dress pants cut like that

I have a 36 in waist and 28.5 in thighs, 46 in ass thanks to powerlifting. I buy size 38-40 pleated dress pants on eBay and have them tailored, avg all in cost $80
