Simple, minimal, utilitarian black boots <$350 USD

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a pair of black boots that are basically the fall/winter equivalent of the birkenstock Arizona. Something simple and dynamic that is minimal by nature without being too sleek and overly designed. I like the idea of a slimmer or almond shaped toe and a boot I can drown with some wider or flared trousers. Open to a Chelsea or a derby (or something else if you can sway me). I would like a bit of traction (no leather or crepe sole) with a lower profile sole. I'm usually walking on sidewalks in New England and just need something decently competent for your average winter day, not heavy snow or ice. I would like to keep cost roughly under $350. Open to secondhand. If you are going to tell me that Clarks or some mall brand like that makes a boot that fits this description well I will still be a happy man. Some decent options from Solovair but maybe a bit luggier than I'm looking for. The Camille side zip boot by La Botte Gardiane (attached) is definitely my speed but probably more than I want to shell on a boot at the moment What options come to mind?

Good rec, but probably slightly more sleek and fashion oriented than I'm looking for, if that helps sort of calibrate. Looking for the boot that was built for utility and happens to be minimal rather than a boot that was designed to be minimal in form first, if that makes sense

Blundstones might be too bulbous but would otherwise fit the bill

Yeah I'm sort of looking for that sweet spot between blundstones and camions. Blundstones are a good rec too but yeah maybe a bit more bulbous in the toe than I'm looking for

Blunnies have a dress version with a pointy-er toe iirc Rm Williams gardener model sometimes comes with a lugged sole also

possibly worth looking at the trickers outlet/trickers secondhand too

For whatever reason I had not given trickers a serious look. I think I always (maybe incorrectly) associate them with brogueing that isn't my taste. Looks like they have a few good options too
