What Measurement is Off?
I’ve had these pants for a while now and every time I put them on, I put them back on the hanger.
I’d like to take them into the tailor so I can wear them but I don’t quite know what’s particularly off about them.
I’d like to another’s perspective on what the issue might be to talk to the tailor or if I should donate and buy another pair.

what don't you like about them?
^this
If I were to point something out, I think it be the hip thigh area. It doesn’t look right. Not sure if it’s a rise thing, thigh, hip?
I guess the word I would use is “frumpy”
what doesn't feel right? Too wide, too narrow, etc.
asking because depending on your style the fit looks fine to me
Feels like it’s wide. I don’t feel “modern” in them
It's certainly not wide
If you're used to slim fit I can see that
Maybe the rise feels too long?
If you look at the creasing around the pockets, if you brought the thighs in any more they would be too tight
Maybe you'll feel better if they're freshly ironed?
Or you could hem them to no break and that will help them drape better
can you share a pic of you ideal pant fit @mopeezy ?
out of curiosity is the frumpy feeling just in the front or in the side/back as well
also what meaty asked
Something closer to this @Meaty, https://bonobos.com/products/stretch-washed-chino?color=arctic%20cream

From the side, it feels frumpy right below my butt @zeometer
Ah, are your pants a stretch cotton?
100% cotton chinos usually wouldn't conform to your top block like that without eventually bagging out or tearing
Is 98% cotton and 2% elastane the same?
I don’t know what this means. Can you explain?
Tried them on again and the crotch feels “low”. I think that’s my issue
the fit of the pants you shared wrap the thighs/seat of the model in a way that if it were cotton wouldn't be possible after like a day of wear, but yours have some stretch so you might be able to make it work
The rise of your pants are definitely higher than the bonobos, so that would leave you with a lower crotch if you're wearing them lower on your waist
you can try taking them to your tailor if you really want the fit of the bonobos pants, but I think the trousers you shared look fine as is
a slightly shorter hem might give you a "cleaner" look with less break
if it's comfortable to do so you may also see if you can wear them a little higher on the waist but seconding everything meaty said
