Stylish ways to bring lunch to work?
I want to start bringing my own lunch to work to save money, but my messenger bag isn't big enough to fit bulky tupperware. I'd rather not wear a backpack to work if I can help it. I commute via bus/train. Any ideas how I can bring my lunch without killing my fashion vibe? I suppose budget would be $100-400 but ideally on the low end if it's really just a lunchbox or something. Thanks!

Are you looking for / open to a bigger bag? That seems more convenient if nothing else
Or are you looking for a separate way of carrying lunch?
What sort of style are you into?
Do you have a specific budget in mind?
I'll add, I think lunch is cool and won't kill your vibe, but I'll help if I can
great questions! I'm not sure whether it makes sense to get a second bag for the lunch or to find a bigger bag to carry everything.
generally I like the messenger bag / briefcase style as opposed to backpacks, but the messenger / briefcase form factor doesn't lend itself well to big square food containers. so I guess that's where the dedicated lunchbox comes in?
for general style I like to dress smart business casual, so loafers, trousers, dress shirt and sport coat in more casual colors and fabrics.
budget depends on whether I need a whole new bag or if I'm getting a dedicated 2nd lunch bag, but I could see myself spending 200ish, maybe up to 400 if really necessary
This may be a ridiculous suggestion for this audience but....is the solution here a new bag or new Tupperware? Depending on what you regularly eat, could a flatter container work?

Not advocating that exact thing, but the point is it exists and would likely fit in a messenger bag. Won't work for a sandwich, but I bring a salad most days and use something similar. $6 solution with no style impact.
I use the part of my toolbox in the top for lunch. It's a small box
cute tote bag is always the answer
it's not a ridiculous suggestion! one complication is, despite me saying tupperware earlier, the reality is I try to avoid plastics for food prep so all my stuff is glass
They actually make flat glass ones too, I just grabbed the first one I saw
hmm I'm intrigued. could you share some examples? a quick google is showing things that look more like a women's purse
ah! splendid. I'll look into this
I have nothing to offer here RE fashion, but Tupperware is in my wheelhouse🤣🤣
totes are like the most ungendered bags out there
Trader Joe’s tote
Leather, canvas, denim; structured, unstructured, etc
$4 and exudes sensual energy
ah! yes I'm following!
I honestly think trader joe's tote is going to be the move lol
thank you all!
This is it
The box i was talk about
Not very stylish now that I think about it
You could get a tiffin and just carry it
Got a handle by default
