Stylish ways to bring lunch to work?

I want to start bringing my own lunch to work to save money, but my messenger bag isn't big enough to fit bulky tupperware. I'd rather not wear a backpack to work if I can help it. I commute via bus/train. Any ideas how I can bring my lunch without killing my fashion vibe? I suppose budget would be $100-400 but ideally on the low end if it's really just a lunchbox or something. Thanks!

Are you looking for / open to a bigger bag? That seems more convenient if nothing else Or are you looking for a separate way of carrying lunch? What sort of style are you into? Do you have a specific budget in mind? I'll add, I think lunch is cool and won't kill your vibe, but I'll help if I can

great questions! I'm not sure whether it makes sense to get a second bag for the lunch or to find a bigger bag to carry everything. generally I like the messenger bag / briefcase style as opposed to backpacks, but the messenger / briefcase form factor doesn't lend itself well to big square food containers. so I guess that's where the dedicated lunchbox comes in? for general style I like to dress smart business casual, so loafers, trousers, dress shirt and sport coat in more casual colors and fabrics. budget depends on whether I need a whole new bag or if I'm getting a dedicated 2nd lunch bag, but I could see myself spending 200ish, maybe up to 400 if really necessary

This may be a ridiculous suggestion for this audience but....is the solution here a new bag or new Tupperware? Depending on what you regularly eat, could a flatter container work? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Rubbermaid-Egg-Food-Storage-Container-Red-color/16408620?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=389&gclsrc=aw.ds&adid=2222222227816408620_117755028669_12420145346&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=501107745824&wl4=pla-394283752452&wl5=1024188&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=16408620&veh=sem_LIA&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwpbi4BhByEiwAMC8Jnahwb2Fw2fKQfxUUjhBOhhMKJmjXV_f1zwLcFVPuXeOdcQsIFZ3VERoCq7cQAvD_BwE Not advocating that exact thing, but the point is it exists and would likely fit in a messenger bag. Won't work for a sandwich, but I bring a salad most days and use something similar. $6 solution with no style impact.

I use the part of my toolbox in the top for lunch. It's a small box

it's not a ridiculous suggestion! one complication is, despite me saying tupperware earlier, the reality is I try to avoid plastics for food prep so all my stuff is glass

They actually make flat glass ones too, I just grabbed the first one I saw
