in this question its only asking for power dissapation why cant we just use P = VI , with V and I peak value , i got wrong ans by this method

Ik , buy why wrong ans of use p = vi , if both peak value
Because there is an impedance in AC which thus makes the power value higher than what it really is the p=vi would hold true if there is only resistance
