is there a thread for reporting documentation errors?
im doing a complete reinstall from start … and doing it like a newbie - following signalk documentation.

I think the best place is to make PR to the Signal K web site repository over at https://github.com/SignalK/signalk.github.io or create issue.
One good way would be to keep notes and then create an issue about them, if it is tthis kind of small fixes here and there
