Hmm. 1) is the Smart Lithium connected via bluetooth to any other device or app on your boat (phone included)? 2) if it is, that could be an issue 3) either casem can you send me your debug log (with my plugin debug on)? 4) a bluetooth capture would also be very useful. just run bluetoothctl scan on >> bt_cap.log from a command prompt for about 5 minutes then dm it to me.

Now deployed to boat too and RuuviTags (4pcs) and Victron DCDC (1pcs) data available. Victron ACDC charger need to be added later when connected mains. This is also running in the docker. Excelent work 💪

Just to be clear; I don't think the issue is not with the bluetooth as it can just find the device. The problem is that when i select it, it doesnt give me the right data fields in the plugin form. Looks like the 'class' doesn't get picked up?

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification. If it's saying Victron undefined it's either an unsupported device (there are a few) or there's a bug in the identify function. If you could send the results of our bluetooth scan to me, I could get a better idea of the problem.

OK would try. Btw, even if the plugin recognize such as the smartsolar example from my screenshot earlier, then it would not show the right fields in the plugin to map. Only the dB signal strength field

I've now got to a first packaged Beta release of my cross-platform Boat Instrument. There is a "Demo Mode" in the settings page that connects to https://demo.signalk.org so you can try it out without your own signalk server. The app is available for: Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=name.seeley.phil.boatinstrument iPhone/MacOS: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/boat-instrument/id6614616870 Windows: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9plncxg5wh39 Linux: https://philseeley.github.io/debian-ppa/ For the Linux builds there are two flavours, one for Desktops and one for dedicated devices. The latter uses the flutter-pi engine to render to the console frame-buffer directly, without the need to install X11/Wayland. Somethings are still a work in progress, like brightness controls and sound on the flutter-pi builds. Currently I've only included boxes for signalk paths I can test. So looking for anyone who's interested in testing things like engine and battery paths. All feedback, especially on the in app help, greatly received and a big "Thank You" to @mgrouch for all his help and feedback.

And just like that, I have released SensESP v3.0.0! SensESP is a sensor development toolkit for the ESP32 family of devices and Signal K. This new release has a changelog a nautical mile long, but here are some noteworthy changes: - Full reimplementation of WiFiManager - WiFi configuration is now integrated in the standard web UI - Support for simultaneous WiFi client and Access Point functionality - Support for multiple alternative WiFi networks. Develop your device at home and install it on the boat without networking hassles! - Web frontend rewritten from ground up using Preact and Bootstrap. Easy to use, easy to develop for, and extensible! - Bunch of new transforms: ExpiringValue, Repeat, RepeatStopping, RepeatExpiring, RepeatConstantRate, Join, Zip, Throttle, Filter - Smarter architecture for exposing items to the new web interface and countless other new and improved features! To get started, have a look at the website and the example project template. Follow-up discussion at #sensesp!
